Notification No.FD.SR-II/2-141/2012

Dated: 11-04-2014

Government of the Punjab Finance Department Lahore has issued Notification No.FD.SR-II/2-141/2012 dated 11th April 2014 in respect of amendment in Rule 19 of the Revised Leave Rules 1981 with effect from 01-09-2013 with the following words:

''In the rule 19, for the words ''One Hundred and Eighty'' wherever occurring, the words ''Three Hundred and Sixty Five'' shall be substituted.''

Explanation:

In the past a government servant had right to have leave encashment for 180 days, if he had 180 or less than 180 days of  LFP in his/her leave account then he/she can had right to receive the payment of maximum 180 days payment to his/her basic pay instead of availing LPR. By, this Notification a retired servant will now receive leave encashment upto 365 days or less of his/her LFP w.e.f 01-09-2013, if he/she has 365 days or less in his/her leave account.

GRANT OF INCREASE IN PENSION TO CIVIL PENSIONERS OF PUNJAB GOVERNMENT

Government of the Punjab Finace Department Lahore has issued Notification No. FD-SR-III-4-302/2014 dated 18-07-2014  for increase in pension to civil employees of Punjab Government and according to the notification, Governor of Punjab has been pleased to grant increase in pension @ 10% of net pension with effect from 1st July 2014 until further orders to all civil pensioners of Government of the Punjab.

2. However, 15% increase in pension allowed vide para 2 of this departments's circular letter No. FD.SR.III.4-108/2010(A) dated 15th July 2010, 15% increase in pension allowed vide para 12(i) of this department's circular letter no.FD.PC.2-1/2011 dated 11-07-2011 and 20% increase in pension as allowed vide para 1 of this department's circular No.FD-SR-III-4-153/2012 dated 18th July 2012 and 10% increase in pension as allowed vide.....

Government of the Punjab Finance Department Lahore has issued the Notification No.FD.PC.2-2/2014 dated 18th July 2014 regarding 'ONE PREMATURE INCREMENT TO THE EMPLOYEES OF BPS-1 TO BPS-4' for all Punjab Government Employees with effect from 01-07-2014. According to the Notification this increment will not effect the normal increment due on 01-12-2014 if otherwise admissible under the rules.
