AIR NEW ZEALAND AIRLINES

The international long-haul fleet consists of Boeing 767-300ER, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 747-400 jet aircraft. Five Boeing 767 aircraft operate many flights from Auckland to the Pacific Islands, Hawaii, Japan, Shanghai, Bali, and Australia. They all have recently been retrofitted with winglets to increase fuel economy. Eight 777-200ER aircraft operate a large majority of the long-haul routes, particularly Auckland to Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The 777-200ER also operates many Australian and Pacific Island flights. Five 777-300ER aircraft service London via Los Angeles and Australia. The 747-400 fleet has been reduced over recent years from eight to two aircrafts.
